Veel mensen vragen, wanneer dan, nu al? Nee, nog niet. Op 09 oktober 2019 zal men in de Tweede Kamer de brief mbt het voorstel behandelen. Of dan gelijk op het voorstel gestemd word is nog onduidelijk. Hoe snel of langzaam het dan ook verloopt, het is de doelstelling om de wet voor 31 oktober 2019 door de Eerste Kamer behandelt te hebben.
Een wetsvoorstel op 09 oktober. Een zeer zeer speciale datum! De lezers die mij beter kennen weten waarom. Weegschaal! Het zal een speciale betekenis hebben.
Libra
Several thousands of years ago – around 2,000 B.C. – the ancient Babylonians apparently associated the constellation of Libra with scales or a balance. Quite possibly, this association was made because the sun on the autumn equinox shone in front of the stars of Libra at that time. It’s at the equinox that the world realizes its seasonal and temporal balance, between the extremes of heat and cold, and with day and night of equal length all over the globe. Metaphorically, Libra the Scales serves as an age-old symbol of divine justice, harmony and balance.
The Romans revived Libra as the only inanimate constellation of the Zodiac. In Roman thought, the constellation Virgo is the embodiment of Astraea, the Starry Goddess, holding Libra, the Scales of Justice. The personification of justice balancing the scales dates back to the Goddess Maat, and later Isis, of ancient Egypt. The Hellenic deities Themis and Dike were later goddesses of justice. Themis was the embodiment of divine order, law, and custom, in her aspect as the personification of the divine rightness of law. However, a more direct connection is to Themis’ daughter Dike, who was portrayed carrying scales.
